Assateague National Park is home of the wild beach ponies! roughly a 10-12 min drive to the beach in either direction.Frontier Town Campground is just a mile down the road as well which features a water park open to the public as well as other activities such as zipline/ropewalk courses, rodeos and Western Cowboy/Indian Village with FREE daily shows.Restaurants and Supermarkets are also in close proximity. Headed towards Assateague you will find Assateague Crab House, a local favorite, as well as assateague surf shop and cafe. Headed the other way towards Rt. 50 to Ocean City, there is a Food Lion grocery store and numerous popular local and chain restaurants.about 5 mins west on Rt. 50 you will also find a Super Walmart with more shopping/restaurants around.Whether you decide to stay close to relax by the pool or venture out to the waterparks, beaches and restaurants nearby, rest assured you will have more than enough options to keep you and your party entertained!
